Easter Crafts

So, you're in charge of the plastic Easter egg hunt this year. Being in control of this sort of thing can be the most fun thing you'll do all year.
You have to make it count though, so something different that the lady that ran it last year didn't think of. Don't just out a hand full of M & M's in between two pieces of Easter egg plastic and call it a day, put some heart and creativity behind it. However, there are many more Easter crafts that you can make that don't include eggs. Sure, Easter eggs as Easter egg crafts are fun to make and that's traditionally what people do, but what about other Easter crafts, such as making Easter bunnies and other Easter related items with such things as paper plates, tissue paper and even construction paper?

Let the kids have something fun in their plastic Easter egg! Another great idea is to put little toys or stickers in them, maybe a rubber ball, or a stick-on tattoo. Make the eggs creative and fun filled, keep in mind that some kids are too young to eat certain types of candy, give them something else to enjoy! They may head to church, if they are celebrating Jesus' resurrection from the grave, as Easter is supposed to represent, or they may just go out to eat with their family, friends and whoever else they wish to spend this glorious day with. One idea you can implement with your Easter crafts is to give them out as gifts to your friends and family whenever you get together.

You can fill the basket with the left over candy, a small stuffed animal and a book, or a board game. You can put McDonald's dollars in there or tickets to the zoo or the movies. These are inexpensive ideas that parents appreciate, and kids will absolutely love! They'll love the originality and the thought that you put into the Easter craft and they'll likely keep it in remembrance of you and the special day you spent together.

This will give the kids more incentive to find the most eggs, and also create a winning environment.Having a party or get together at your home is a fine idea and what better way to show your Easter spirit is to decorate your home with Easter crafts. You could cut shapes out of paper plates and color them to look like Easter bunnies or you can use the above mentioned materials, such as construction paper, tissue paper and coloring tools and make whatever you'd like to decorate your home in all sorts of colors.

It is fun to watch the little ones scurry around in their Sunday best with their tiny blue suits, little yellow sun hats or pink frilly dresses. It will do wonders for your home, your get together and your Easter crafts should put everyone in the celebratory mood.
